On February 24, 2026, Oracle announced Oracle Database@Google Cloud, a managed service running Oracle Exadata infrastructure within Google Cloud data centers, following its January 22, 2025 launch of Oracle Database@AWS and a December 2023 Azure partnership. For fiscal 2025 (ended May 31, 2025), Oracle reported total revenue of $53.0 billion, with cloud services and license support revenue of $39.4 billion—a 21% increase year-over-year as reported, without constant currency adjustments. On September 10, 2024, Oracle released Autonomous Database Select AI with retrieval-augmented generation, enabling natural-language querying of enterprise data without relocation. Oracle matters now because its multi-cloud database strategy—embedding its flagship database directly inside the three largest hyperscalers—combined with its OCI AI clusters using Nvidia H100 GPUs, directly challenges the assumption that enterprise database workloads must migrate to native cloud platforms to access advanced AI infrastructure.
